At 7 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 24, 2008, police say a 27-year-old woman and her two small children, ages 5 and 18 months, were abducted at gunpoint from their home in Lusby, Md.
They were forced into the family’s Chevy Tahoe, and taken to the bank where the woman works in St. Mary’s County.
At that point, she was forced to go inside the bank, and bring cash out to the waiting kidnappers. Police sources say the suspects dropped the woman, and her children, off at a nearby school in St. Mary’s County, and the suspects fled in the Tahoe.
Cops say they dumped the Tahoe off at a nearby CVS, and may have met up with another accomplice, who may be driving a Black Nissan Sentra.
All men are in their mid- to late 20’s, and two of the suspects were wearing head-to-toe camouflage.
The robbers displayed a gun during the abduction. The black Sentra was seen at a nearby McDonald’s in St. Mary’s County, and cops say they are looking for the vehicle. At least one of the suspects was seen fleeing on foot from the Tahoe.

Police say Joseph Franklin Brown Jr., William Cordell Johnson, and Quinita Jesse Ennis are responsible for a robbery and kidnapping on September 24, 2008.
According to an indictment, Ennis and Brown drove to the PNC Bank manager's residence in Calvert County, Md., wearing ski masks, camouflage, and carrying a 9 mm rifle when they kidnapped the woman and her two children.
Cops say the suspects forced the family to drive to St. Mary's county in the victim's vehicle where the victim was forced to go into the bank where she works, to get cash for the suspects.
Police say Johnson held her minor son hostage in the vehicle, while the manager's young daughter was released.
Cops say Johnson took $169,900 from the manager, then forced her to drive to a local elementary school where the woman and her children were released. The suspects then drove the vehicle to a nearby pharmacy where the truck was abandoned.
Police say, at that point, Ennis drove Brown and Johnson to Brown's residence and devised a crafty plan to get rid of the evidence.
It was at Brown's home where cops found the gun and $84,000 in cash buried in the backyard. Cops tell AMW.com that the suspects allegedly tried to burn the clothing and supplies they used in the kidnapping and robbery.
Cops say all suspects face a maximum sentence of five years in prison for Conspiracy; 25 years in prison for bank robbery; and life in prison for using a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.
Police say Brown and Johnson are facing additional time, up to 10 additional years each, for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for evidence tampering.
They could also face five years for interstate transport of stolen property.
Police say Edwin Jonathan Jones faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison for being an accessory after the fact. Cops say he assisted Brown and Johnson from September 24 to October 3, 2008 to hinder their arrest.
