»The Full Story
In 2008, Yolanda Wooten brought her husband, Saheed Davis, to spend Christmas Day with her family at their Jackson, Miss. home.
However, it seemed that instead of the holiday spirit, Davis was filled with violence.
An argument broke out between Davis and Yolanda's brother-in-law, Zedrick Warner.
After the fight, police say Davis went to his car, grabbed a gun and shot Zedrick multiple times. He then ran away from his girlfriend and her stunned family.
Zedrick was transported to the University Medical Center where he died during surgery.
Cops tell us that Davis has a violent criminal record that includes arrests for murder, firearms, and cocaine possession.
They also say that he is also a Lieutenant for the Vice Lord street gang, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Saheed Davis probably had different plans for the 2009 holiday season than the year before: on Christmas Day 2008, police allege that he shot his brother-in-law to death in front of his wife's family.
A year later, Davis most likely planned to spend his holiday season on the run.
But a couple days before Halloween 2009, police discovered he had plans to meet his girlfriend at a Dallas hotel.
They watched the hotel, determined that Davis and his girlfriend were inside, and arrested the two without incident. The girlfriend is not being charged with any crime at this time.
Now, it will most likely be a blue Christmas for Davis as he spends this holiday where he belongs: behind bars.
