Police in Akron, Ohio are searching for Lawrence Allen Taylor, due to several criminal charges they say he accumulated during a home invasion.
After breaking into an acquaintance's house, police say Taylor ordered one of the victims to restrain the other three inhabitants using duct tape.
Cops maintain that after all the victims were effectively restrained, Taylor held them captive for nearly four hours, before leaving the house with a stolen vehicle and a hostage.
Eventually, the three victims Taylor left behind broke free and alerted police.
The fourth victim, who Taylor left the house with, was later found unharmed.
After Taylor stole the vehicle, police allege that he drove to a First Merit Bank, in Akron, Ohio, and demanded money from an employee.
As a result, Taylor has a federal warrant out for his arrest, as well as the array of other charges he racked up during the home invasion.
Police believe Taylor to be a suspect in other bank robberies dating back to July 2009.
Police are calling Taylor armed and dangerous.
In Akron, Ohio, not far from where Taylor committed the bulk of his alleged crimes, detectives discovered where exactly he laid low in order to avoid apprehension.
Around 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2009, law enforcement officials surrounded the house in which they suspected Taylor to be residing.
Taylor gave himself up without conflict and is now behind bars.
