On the first day of the 2011 Major League Baseball season, the reigning World Series champion San Francisco Giants played their heated rivals, the Los Angeles Dodgers, on the road in L.A. Despite the festive family-friendly atmosphere, two very angry Dodgers "fans" took their hatred of the Giants to a new, unspeakable low. After four months of nearly round-the-clock detective work, the LAPD announced in late July that they'd taken the primary suspects into custody.
Marvin Norwood, 30, was taken into custody by the LAPD on July 21, 2011.

On July 22, 2011, the LAPD announced that the two men responsible for the brutal beating of San Francisco Giants fan, Bryan Stow, were taken into custody a day earlier.
Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 30, were arrested and charged with Mayhem and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
While they sit behind bars, Bryan is slowly learning to function again after emerging from a months-long coma. Tragically, doctors believe the chances of a full recovery are slim.
