Behind The Scenes In Key West, Fla. With AMW Host John Walsh

AMW Host John Walsh and the rest of the crew headed to Key West, Fla. with the U.S. Coast Guard this week to bust up a family-run human trafficking ring.

Authorities say Patricio Sosa, Carmela Cadena, and Rafael Cadena-Sosa lure young women from Mexico with the promise that for $2,000, they will smuggle them into the United States where they will live a life of luxury.

But cops say once the girls get to America, they're sold as sex slaves and forced to sleep with as many as 30 men per day.

John talked to Avery Mann about human trafficking, and said to better understand the plight of these young women, AMW producers put together a composite of a typical victim called Rosa's Story.

Another case at the top of John's priority list is the story of 14-year-old Erica Smith.

In the summer of 2002, Erica was murdered just miles from her home in a Washington, D.C. suburb. Cops desperately need help on the hunt for Erica's killer and John is calling on AMW viewers for tips.
