This week, America's Most Wanted begins its 23rd season of catching bad guys on FOX -- and with nearly 1,100 fugitives already caught, this season promises even more excitement, more justice, and more takedowns.
We took the AMW crew on the road to shoot the season premiere, setting up camp under the Whitehurst Freeway in Washington, D.C.'s Georgetown, just down the road from our Crime Center.
During a production break, John spoke with AMW's Avery Mann about what starting the 23rd season means to him.
On set, John Walsh had the chance to meet with Jennifer Schuett, an inspiring young woman who was kidnapped and raped at 8 years old, in 1990. She's now working to solve her own abduction, and to become an advocate for other victims of crime.
Also this week, we're on the hunt for Raul Cruz, an Indiana horse farm worker accused of beating a man to death with a bedpost, and for Berny Figueroa, a Texas babysitter who cops say killed a 2-year-old girl in her charge.
