Florida Law Enforcement Launches '12 Days Of Fugitives'

The holidays are a poignant time for criminals and victims families both, as the latter more acutely feel the loss of loved ones and the former tend to reach out to their own family and friends.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Department of Corrections have responded to these phenomena by launching the "12 Days of Fugitives," an intense public outreach to generate leads on a dozen of Florida's most notorious prison escapees.

The initiative launched Dec. 23, 2009, and has  focused on one fugitive each day, offering rewards and a toll free tipline for the public to call.

The fugitives will be featured in state newspapers, highway billboards, and of course, America's Most Wanted:

Day 1: Julio Bonchea

Wanted For: Escape (Costa Rica)

 

Day 2: Robert Finley

Wanted For: Escape (Kissimmee, Fla.)

 

Day 3: Robert Baldwin

Wanted For: Escape (Sanderson, Fla.)

 

Day 4: Glen Chambers

Wanted For: Escape (Polk City, Fla.)

 

Day 5: Phillip Donovan

Wanted For: Escape (Manatee County, Fla.)

 

Day 6: Jano Evans

Wanted For: Escape (Tampa, Fla.)

 

Day 7: Frederick Schueler

Wanted For: Escape (Avon Park, Fla.)

 

Day 8: Gary Prater

Wanted For: Escape (Volusia County, Fla.)

 

Day 9: Harry Braswell

Wanted For: Escape (Sumter County, Fla.)

 

Day 10: Oscar Richardson
