Behind The Scenes With John Walsh: The Green Screen

John Walsh and America’s Most Wanted hit the road a lot, but we can’t be everywhere at once. This week, we taped the show on the largest green screen we’ve ever shot on.

“Well, you know everybody’s going into 3-D and all kinds of technology advancements,” John says. “We have to keep up with that. America’s Most Wanted has to keep up with the technology.”

It's not often that our work keeps us in the studio, but sometimes it’s necessary.

“I like to meet the victims and the cops. I think that’s what’s unique about AMW,” John says. “But every now and then, we have to grind down and do a green-screen shoot, and this is a pretty cool set.”
