Tucson Man Sought In Soldier's Murder

Jurel Roberson is wanted in Tucson on first degree murder charges.

November 2, 2007 should have been a night of much-deserved R&R for three U.S. Army soldiers on leave from serving in Iraq.  Grady Gilmer, Justin Harris, and Robert Glenn went to Tucson's Club Envy, where Gilmer struck up a conversation with a woman he had met at the club. 

The woman's boyfriend, Jurel Roberson, was also at the club that night, and Gilmer told authorities that while he spoke with Roberson, there were no harsh words or ill will.  That all seemingly changed just a few short hours later.

The three soldiers left the club at around closing time and began driving to a nearby restaurant. 

Harris was driving, Glenn was in the passenger seat, and Gilmer sat in the back.  Cops believe that Roberson and some friends pulled up to the soldiers' car and Roberson, sitting in the passenger seat, opened fire. 

Police Focus Their Search In Key States

Bullets slammed through the vehicle, killing Robert Glenn and wounding Justin Harris. 

Now, authorities are looking for AMW viewers to help them find Jurel Roberson. 

Tucson cops have issued an arrest warrant for Jurel Roberson on first degree murder charges.  He is to be considered armed and dangerous. 

Authorities are hoping recent information they received about Jurel Roberson will lead to his arrest.

Cops say Jurel is a known to affiliate with the South Park Family Gangsters who are connected to the "Bloods."

Police allege Roberson runs drugs between Houston and South Carolina and they have information that he might spend time in Phoenix, Arizona and Florida.

Cops want to hear from anyone who believes they might have seen Roberson is anyone of these key states.
