The town of Harrisonville, Mo. went without a murder for more than three years, but that community is now mourning another loss.
Cara Jo Roberts was found dead at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2008, leaving behind a 2-year-old son, a loving husband and her small Missouri town in shock.
Cara Jo Roberts' killer hasn't been found, but cops in Harrisonville have released a sketch of a person who was seen in the area on the day of the murder.
They believe this person may have seen something, and may know the identity of the killer. The sketch has generated some leads, and cops are carefully looking into each of them. However, no arrests have yet been made.
"Cara did not deserve this. She was always smiling and a wonderful person. The family is clueless on who would do such a brutal thing to her," Cara's relative Jolene Bourland said in a heartfelt letter to America's Most Wanted.
As family members and neighbors are still trying to come to terms with their tragic loss, police hope that AMW.com tipsters will provide them with more information that will lead to this cold-blooded killer.

About five billboards have been put up between Harrisonville Kan. and Kansas City hoping that they will generate new leads in the brutal murder of Cara Jo Roberts.
The billboards feature a cash reward of $21,000 for information that leads to the arrest of whomever killed Cara Jo. They also have the sketch of somebody who was seen in the neighborhood the day of the murder and whom police want to talk to.
Jeff Roberts, Cara Jo's husband, says he hopes the billboards and the reward will encourage people to call and solve the case.
