Cops in Menasha, Wisc. say Vincent Boyd frequently wrote his underage twin cousins to let them know how much he loved them and wanted to be with them.
Convicted sexual predator Vincent Boyd has the women who were once close to him keeping a watchful eye on their young daughters.
In 2000, he was charged, tried and convicted of sexually assaulting a child. Upon his release in 2001, he was lawfully required to register for life as a sex offender.
After his release, he jumped around to different friends and family members, desperately seeking the close family bond that he lacked in his own dysfunctional childhood.
Unfortunately prison did little to remove Boyd’s depraved sexual impulses.
Cops say Boyd's aunt eventually took him in. But less than two years later, detectives in Winnebago County, Wisc. say Boyd reverted to his old, sick ways once again.
According to police reports, Vincent made frequent advances towards one, or both, of his 7-year-old cousins.
But for years, his actions went unreported and charges were never filed.
Boyd eventually left Wisconsin and moved to Illinois to stay with friends. There, he failed to register as a sex offender, and as a result, was taken to prison for the parole violation in May 2007.
While in prison, Boyd's aunt had her daughters write letters to Boyd in prison, and over the course of a few months, she began to learn of the sickening relationship he'd forged with them.
Police say she found several inappropriate and flirtatious letters from Vincent scattered amongst one of her daughter’s belongings.
Within the letters, Boyd refers to himself as "boyfriend", while addressing the girl as "beautiful," "cutie," "sweetie," and "honey." He declares his love for her in each of the letters, and avows his desire to make the pre-teen girl his wife.
Investigators tell us that at some point in 2003, Boyd victimized the young girl, stole her innocence, and abused his position as a male figure in her life.
A predator in every sense of the word, cops say Boyd gets a rush from preying upon the naiveté of children.
Once Boyd's aunt learned the full extent of what Boyd had done to one or both of her daughters, she immediately reported him to the police in the Spring of 2008. Even though at one time, Boyd was like her own son, she tells AMW: "I want him caught."
But now, as long as Boyd remains a fugitive from justice, she fears for her daughter's safety, as he has nothing to lose.
Cops tell us that Boyd, who has previously been dependent on both drugs and alcohol over the years, has made friends with a number of questionable characters -- many of whom his aunt fears could put her family in danger if Boyd one day decided to retaliate.
After discussing her revelations with a friend, Boyd’s aunt uncovered even more disturbing news in July 2008.
It turns out that Boyd allegedly sexually assaulted the 9-year-old daughter of a family friend during the same time frame in which he was allegedly engaging in relations with her own daughters.
Cops say Boyd’s actions with this other girl were just as revolting, but far more violent than with his cousins.
Cops say that in 2005, Boyd trapped his other female victim in a trailer, then proceeded to beat her up before savagely raping her. After it was over, Boyd threatened to kill the girl if she told anybody about what he'd done.
In that case, the girl's mother discovered even more letters written by Boyd. Cops tell us that it appeared that he manipulated his victim into believing he was in love with her in the time leading up to his savage attack.
The crime went unreported for years, however, because cops tell us that girl's mother feared for the safety of her daughters and her family if Boyd one day decided to retaliate.
But after Boyd's aunt talked to her, she helped her find the courage to tell police about what she believes happened to her own daughter in 2005.
Jailhouse Visit Shakes Convicted Pedophile
In June 2008, Det. Chris Anderson of the Town of Menasha Police Department paid Boyd a visit in jail to question him about the allegations.
While Boyd was initially shocked to be accused of such repulsive behavior, he eventually indirectly confessed to the allegations -- with the caveat that he may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
Cops were not immediately able to get an arrest warrant for Boyd, so five weeks later, on July 11, 2008, Boyd walked out of prison a free man, and headed to his mother's house in Sevierville, Tenn.
Just about two months after his release, a judge issued a warrant for Boyd's arrest stemming from the alleged abuse he inflicted upon his cousins in 2003.
When Sevierville cops arrived to make the arrest, Boyd wasn't home.
Cops believe that at some point afterward, a relative tipped Boyd off that officers were searching for him and he hit the road.
He's been in the wind ever since.
Once found, Boyd will be facing numerous charges in multiple locales, all alleging sexual misconduct with underage girls. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
On October 30, 2008, a judge in Langlade County, Wisc. issued another arrest warrant for Boyd, stemming from the 2005 incident in which Boyd allegedly beat, confined and raped a young girl inside of a trailer.
In the time since the warrant came down, cops say Vincent may have fled to Niagara Falls, Ontario, with a girlfriend or he may still be found hanging around the Sevierville area.
He may also be trying to find work in the restaurant industry.
As a repeat offender, if he is convicted of any or all of the pending charges, Boyd will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
The families of these young girls are now reaching out to the public for answers.
With Boyd still on the run, cops say these girls constantly fear that he may return to hurt them again someday. Now it’s time for Boyd to face the consequences for his disturbing actions.
