On Sept. 22, 2010, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced that they identified remains found in a creekbed on a Chattooga, Ga., farm as those of Theresa Parker.
Theresa was reported missing when she didn't show up for her shift as a 911 dispatcher on March 25, 2007.
Police collected enough circumstantial evidence to charge Theresa's husband, Sam Parker, with her murder in February 2008.
Prosecuters built a timeline to prove that Parker could have murdered Theresa and disposed of her body.
On Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, Parker was found guilty of murder, making false statements and violating his oath as a public officer.
He was sentenced to life in prison.
