Missing Man Found After 13 Years

Family members say 25-year-old John Blevins was on a mission: he wanted to find his biological mother.

In May 1995, John left Michigan on a bus for Fort Myers, Fla. with all of his possessions in a brown paper bag. Upon arriving in Fort Myers, John headed to his uncle's house, took a shower and left.

John never returned.

No one knew what happened to him. His family figured he started a new life and wanted to be left alone.

Then, in March 2007, the remains of eight men were found in a wooded area of Fort Myers. DNA from all the remains were sent to the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification. The remains known only as "Victim D" were identified as John Blevins.

Police are unsure how the men died or the details of the crime. However, their investigation involves identifying all the remains in hopes of developing a lead as to who killed these eight men.

Two other men identified through DNA are Victim E, Erik Kohler and Victim C, Jonathon Tihay.
