Cops are perplexed. This crime scene is extremely isolated. Does this mean the killers are familiar with Anahuac, Texas? If so, why have only a few rumors surfaced?
This is a composite drawing of what this John Doe looks like. Identifying him will go a long way in finding his killers.
A body floating in the Double Bayou is not something Chambers County investigators were expecting to ever see. But once they did, they realized this would become a major case.
The victim had Fila-brand sneakers on. They were old so cops are thinking he possibly bought them at a thrift store.
The killer (or more likely, killers) had bound the victim with duct tape, as well as some oversized industrial zip ties.
While it's possible the killers drove the body to the water's edge before throwing him in, the most logical scenario has the killers tossing the body off the bridge that runs over the Double Bayou.
