Amy Leigh Ayers, 13, was murdered on Dec. 6, 1991, at an I Can't Believe It's Yogurt shop in Austin, Texas. She was an eighth-grader at Burnet Middle School and a member of the junior Future Farmers of America.
Maurice Pierce was questioned in the Yogurt Shop case in 1991 after he was arrested for carrying a gun at a local mall.

Austin Police released a sketch (left) of a suspicious man seen outside the yogurt shop the day of the murders. The sketch was later compared to a sketch (right) of an unknown rapist.
These sketches lead to the arrest of three men living in Mexico. Austin police ruled all three out as suspects in the Yogurt Shop Murders.
