Police say what started as a robbery quickly turned into a bloodbath in Yonkers, N.Y. Police and U.S. Marshals were on the hunt for Ronnell Jones who was being sought for two murders and multiple assaults, including one on a small child. Thankfully, after nearly two years on the run, Jones was arrested during a routine traffic stop in Chicago.
On June 11, 2012, a gang squad in Chicago made a random traffic stop. All of the people inside the vehicle needed to be identified, and one of them in the back was not giving up his name. After more than 24 hours and processing finger prints, authorities figured out the man, with a beard and a gun in the back seat, was in fact accused murderer Ronnell Jones. Investigators will most likely extradite Jones from Illinois to New York before the end of June.
