June 7, 2006 was like any other day for 23-year-old NiShan Huff, but by the day's end, she would be dead and her family and friends would be searching for answers.
Police say that day someone entered her Greenville, S.C. apartment and shot her several times in the face. When her boyfriend returned just a half hour later, he found her body inside the apartment.
Now NiShan's family and friends, along with South Carolina authorities are trying to find out who would want her dead and why.
NiShan had just graduated from Francis Marion University last winter with honors and was working in restaurant at the time of her death. She was also a dedicated member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
NiShan's sister Chicketa Huff says the family is still in shock, but are hopeful that police will find out who killed her sister. Family and friends gathered for the 23-year-old's funeral on June 13.
