Todder Safe At Home
On Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, Kentucky police thought it likely that missing Brielle Connors had been taken out the state by her captors. Thankfully that turned out not to be the case.
The family called police later that day with the good news. They say Brielle's non-custodial mother, Lauren Connors, arranged a meeting with them to return the toddler without incident.
The phone call was a relief for everyone involved. But police say the case wasn't solved yet.
Case Still Goes Unsolved
Authorities claim they still have three more unsolved issues to deal with. They say Lauren Connors and her two accomplices, Michale Pierce and Wendy Joyce, should have turned themselves in when they returned the toddler. But since they haven't, police have issued a warrant for their arrest. The three suspects face possible charges of kidnapping.
