On June 2, 2011, after a 20-year ordeal, Jaycee Lee Dugard's captors were sentenced after pleading guilty to the 1991 kidnapping. Phillip Garrido was sentenced to 431 years to life in prison, and his wife Nancy was sentenced to 36 years to life. Jaycee was snatched on June 10, 1991, while walking to a bus stop in South Lake Tahoe, Calif., just a few blocks from her family's home. Cops say that for 18 years, Jaycee was held as a sex slave in a series of backyard sheds by her two abductors.
