Herman Lee Black, 45, was the last person seen with Tyreek Davis as the two left a motel in Carmel Church where the child's family had been living. Now, more than a year since Tyreek's disappearance, authorities may have located the boy's remains in a Virginia lake.
Police say Black, who is serving time for involuntary manslaughter and felony child neglect, told authorities where to look for Tyreek's body. Police located skeletal remains in a brake drum submerged in Lake Anna on February 19, 2006. Authorities have sent the remains to a forensic lab in Virginia for positive identification.
