Lovely's Captured, Kids Safe And Sound


Police have been aggressively hunting for the Lovely family for more than two months. After allegations of abuse Michael and Haley Lovely lost custody of two of her children. Police say on New Years Eve the couple took their three children from Kokomo, Indiana and went on the run. Police thought they were close to finding Michael and Haley, but they say the couple stole a car from their neighbor in Rome, Georgia just before police got to their apartment.


On March 9, 2005 police went to a DMV in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Police received information that Haley had tried to obtain an Alabama Identification Card on Monday, but because their computer systems were down, they told her she would have to come back. On March 9, Haley returned to the DMV to get her identification card. When she entered the DMV, State Troopers were there to arrest her. She then led the troopers to a car parked near by, where they found Michael and the three children. The three children were all found unharmed and are now safe. Michael and Haley are being held on auto theft and forgery charges
