According to a publicist, Desairee Compton has been found safe and is recovering from the ordeal.
According to authorities the Apple Valley School Police Department received a tip from a student that the young actress was at a home in the neighborhood.
Deputies went to the home immediately and found the teen and brought her into custody. She was turned over to her parents hours later.
