Cops Rescue Martinez From Mexican Airport


On Tuesday, September 13, 2005 Mexican law enforcement authorities found 14-year-old Laura Martinez. She had been abducted from Ontario High School in California last week.

Police in Ontario say Laura called detectives Tuesday afternoon from the airport in Morelia in Michoacan, Mexico. They say she told them that her suspected abductor, Elias Flores Martinez, 28, was in the restroom.

Officers with the Mexican Agency of Federal Investigation found the girl and reported her in good condition.

Elias Flores Martinez remains at large.
