Sixteen-year-old Meagan Minton was found in Thompson, Georgia at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. She was last seen at about 7 a.m. Monday, October 31, 2005 prompting a nationwide AMBER Alert.

Teen Found Safe In Georgia


Police in Houston, Texas shared in each other's relief as they recovered a missing teen safe and unharmed. Sixteen-year-old Meagan Minton was found in Thompson, Georgia at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police were concerned because she had been chatting online with an older man. Police say the man may have been suicidal.

Police suspected the Meagan may have boarded a bus to go see the man. It turns out their suspicions were correct. Police in Georgia discovered the teen on a bus in Thompson, Georgia. Thankfully she was safe and unharmed.
