It has been over a year since 14-year-old Diana Gonzalez was abducted by a 29-year-old family friend.

October 14, 2005 was just like any other day at Diana Gonzalez's home. The family went about their daily routine: worked, ate dinner and went to bed. But, cops say, sometime after midnight, the life of Diana's family drastically changed.
Diana's mother awoke around 6 a.m. on the morning of October 15, 2005 to a startling phone call. A family friend, Jose Barrera-Pacheco, was on the other end of the line, and cops say he told Diana's mother that he loved her 14-year-old daughter, took off with her, and that the family would never see her again.
Diana's mother ran frantically to her daughter's room only to find it empty and Diana gone.
Diana was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. She is described as a 14-year-old Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes. Diana is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. She may be with Jose Barrera-Pacheco and traveling in a black 4-door Honda or a white van. Jose Barrera-Pacheco is described as a 29-year-old Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
