Teenager Home Safe; Charges Pending Against Suspect Teen Met On Web
After more than three weeks of searching, Quanisha Dowdell has returned home safely. Quanisha's parents are grateful their daughter was not harmed. Police say charges are still pending against the person Quanisha may have met on the internet.
On Monday, July 10, 2006, Quanisha walked into her parent's home after the man she may have met on the internet dropped her off. Quanisha's parents were relieved to see the daughter they had searched for more than three weeks at their front door. Quanisha is thankful to be back home and safe in her parent's arms.
The name of the man who was last seen with Quanisha has been not released. Charges are still pending against him.
Quanisha may be familiar with the man who took her from her family.
