Colorado cops say they've located missing kids Jose Lewis Cerrato and his sister Jessica Marbella Garcia. According to police, Jose and Jessica are staying with a relative in Honduras. Police initially thought the kids' disappearance was the work of a convicted sex offender. But the brother and sister tell detectives a much different story as to how they ended up so far away from home. According to investigators, Jose and Jessica say they spontaneously decided to visit a relative in Honduras. As they started making travel plans, the kids say Rodriguez decided to join them. The brother and sister say they were not forced to go on the trip and that Rodriguez did not hurt them. Because of the new information, cops say there's a possibility they'll drop kidnapping charges against Rodriguez. But police say that doesn't mean they're giving up on their search for him.

Cops might wipe away the kidnapping charge that Rodriguez now faces. But he's still got some problems on his hands. Detectives say he failed to register as a sex offender when he moved to Colorado, and because of that, he could still be in hot water. Rodriguez's whereabouts are still unknown and police say they are still hoping to find him.
