Ella Casey's mother reported her daughter missing after waking up to an empty home on November 25, 2006. She says Ella and her 16-month-old grandson suddenly disappeared in the middle of the night. In August 2008, cops in Kansas found Ella safe and sound during a routine traffic stop.

Teen Recovered Safely In Kansas


Ella Casey's 1997 Ford Escort was pulled over by a Sheriff's Deputy in Clay County, Kansas, on August 5, 2008. When the deputy realized Ella had been reported as a missing person, he detained her until he could determine what she'd been up to since her date of disappearance back in November 2006.

Once her story was verified and cops learned she wasn't in any harm, they released her. In the days that followed, AMW has learned that her three children, including little Marteen, are all safe and sound with their mother, and residing in the Junction City, Kansas area.
