Three Kids Safe


The three Emeruwa children are safe and in police custody, following a frantic and tragic holiday. On New Year's Day, Montogomery County, Maryland police issued an AMBER Alert after their mother was found murdered in their Burtonsville home. After searching all day, someone finally called in a tip to authorities that they had seen the children in their father's car, still driving in Montgomery County.

Dad Under Arrest


After a brief police chase, during which one officer suffered minor injuries when she was involved in an accident, all three children were recovered safely. Their father, who had allegedly kidnapped them following the murder, was arrested and is now facing homicide charges.
