Boy Recovered Unharmed
After over two months on the run with his fugitive dad, Josh Pumphrey was recovered by FBI agents on his fifth birthday.
An AMW tipster called our hotline and provided the FBI with information narrowing Pumphrey's location to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Just after 1am on March 23, 2007, the FBI descended on the Albuquerque, New Mexico motel that William Pumphrey had been hiding out at with Josh. Josh was turned over to family and child services until his mother arrived from Cheyenne, Wyoming.
