DNA Proves Baby Found In Mexico Is Dafne Morales
DNA results proved what people close to Dafne and Norma Morales were hoping for: the 8-month-old baby, who was found abandoned under a porch in Matamoros, Mexico on Feb. 25, 2007 is Dafne Morales.
Where is Norma?
Dafne and her mother Norma disappeared in Dallas, Texas on Feb. 24, 2007 when Norma was supposed to meet with her boyfriend.
After mother and daughter were reported missing, cops intensively searched for both of them. A couple of weeks later, Mexican media reported that a girl had been found under a porch in Matamoros. Immediately, relatives of the mother and the baby called people close to Dafne and Norma, who said the baby looked exactly like Dafne.
However, cops needed DNA to prove it. Now that those results are in, there is a sense of comfort. However, Norma hasn't been found yet and cops in Dallas won't stop until that happens.
