Walla Walla Kids Safe, Dad In Custody


For the past week, John Baugher has been the subject of a massive multi-state manhunt after he abducted his two children, Lars and Remi. However, thanks to a snow storm and broken down bus, authorities have recovered the missing kids and have their fugitive dad in custody.

Authorities say that John Baugher used some expert hitchhiking skills to get from Missoula, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah. Baugher then bought bus tickets under the alias Chris Anderson and the trio boarded a bus headed for Denver. Luckily, some witnesses spotted the Baughers and alerted authorities. Police say that the bus broke down in the Colorado Springs area and a snow storm helped delay matters further. Law enforcement officials were already hot on the trail and picked up the siblings and Baugher a short time later.
