The search for Sarah Acquire, a 16-year-old Wyckoff N.J. girl who ran away from home, has ended. Just one week after she first went missing on March 21, 2007, cops caught up with her in Paterson, N.J. Cops had feared for her safety while she was alone, but now say Sarah is unharmed and has been safely reunited with her family.
According to police, Sarah had been hanging out with a bad crowd, and they feared she may have found herself in a dangerous situation while she was alone.
But one week after she first ran off, police caught up to her in Paterson, N.J. and Sarah was reunited with her family.
Police are not sure what Sarah was doing during the week she was missing -- but they say they're relieved that the story has a happy ending.
