Police have confirmed that the body found at the Tinker Dam in Maine is that of 3-year-old Alexandria Winship-Wright. Authorities located Alexandria after a search and rescue team took digital photos of the river. An analysis of the pictures led to the discovery of the body two weeks later on June 19, 2007.

Toddler Found At Dam


Police recovered the body of a toddler on June 19, 2007. Through DNA tests it was confirmed that the body is that of Alexandria Winship-Wright who went missing on April 25, 2007. Police suspected she had fallen in the water when they found her along the Tinker Dam, near Perth Andover. A rescue team took digital photos of the water and their analysis led to the discovery of the body.
