After more than 10 years on the run with her mother, Anatolia Hernandez, US Marshals say that 13-year-old Sofia Hernandez will soon be reunited with her father. Authorities tell AMW that a press release regarding Sofia and her fugitive mother aired in Canada on September 11, 2007. This press release set in motion a series of events that had been 10 years in the making. US Marshals say that three days later, Anatolia Hernandez turned herself in to Canadian authorities on September 14, 2007. They say she is being held on immigration violations and is facing extradition back to Sacramento, Calif. Sophia has been turned over to Child Protective Services and is awaiting the arrival of her father in Montreal.
