Missing LA Girl Found


13-year-old Janelle Halbrook was found safe two days after she disappeared from the Los Angeles County Fair. Janelle's parents reported her missing on Sunday, Sept. 23, and notified police that they had received emails from Janelle on Monday, Sept. 24 and Tues. Sept. 25. Police identified the house where the emails were sent, but Janelle was not there. Later, San Bernardino Sheriff's Department received a call from a resident that Halbrook was at their home.

Sheriffs responded and found Janelle; she was in good health and not injured. Janelle was soon reunited with her parents. Detectives determined that Janelle met two teen boys and departed the fair with them.
