Cops in Chula Vista, Calif. say that 16-year-old Ashlee Crocitto was found safe and sound in Tijuana, Mex. two days after her estranged boyfriend kidnapped her at knifepoint. 20-year-old Carlos Antonio was arrested when Ashlee was recovered and was later booked into Chula Vista, Calif. jail, police say.

Missing Girl Recovered In Mexico


Cops tell AMW that 16-year-old Ashlee Crocitto was recovered safe and unharmed from a house in Tijuana, Mex. on March 10, 2008. Police say the teen was kidnapped at knifepoint two days prior by her estranged ex-boyfriend, Carlos Antonio.

Both Ashlee and Antonio returned to the U.S. shortly after midnight and Ashlee was reunited with her family while Antonio was booked into Chula Vista jail. Antonio will be charged with one count of kidnapping and one count of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
