After over a month and a half on the run, cops caught up with two fugitive parents who took their three non-custodial children on the lam. On June 17, 2008, authorities in Las Vegas were called to a K-Mart on reports of a possible theft. When they arrived, they arrested Charles Agosto. His partner-in-crime and mother of his children, Julia Payne, was arrested a short time later and they three kids, Isacc, Izaya, and Saije, were recovered safe and sound. The three Payne children were returned to the care of their grandparents in Lebanon, Ore. Cops say that the parents and children had been in Las Vegas for weeks. Agosto and Payne were lodged in the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas before being returned to Oregon to face charges.
