After weeks of searching for a kidnapped 7-year-old boy, authorities say that the boy's mother has surrendered and the boy has been returned to his father. Cops say 38-year-old Ekaterina Principali and a male suspect were behind the abduction of her son Luca on August 19, 2009.

Fugitive Mom Surrenders To Boise Cops


After weeks of searching for 7-year-old Luca Principali and his mother, authorities in Idaho have arrested the boy's mother in his kidnapping. Ekaterina Principali, 38, surrendered to police on Sept. 1, 2009 and cops say that her son, Luca, looked unharmed and healthy.

Police have not released information on where Principali took Luca after his abduction from his father's Boise apartment.
