Infant Found Safe In Alabama, Woman Arrested
Cops found 7-day-old Yair Carrillo safe in a home in Ardmore, Ala. around 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009.
The Tenn. Bureau of Investigation, Metropolitan Nashville Police and the FBI followed a lead about the Kia Spectra with out of state tags that followed Yair's mother, Maria from a Walmart parking lot.
It lead them to 39-year-old Tammy Renee Silas of Ardmore, Ala.
Cops determined that Silas rented the Kia from the Nashville airport early Tuesday before the attack.
Silas was taken to the Morgan County Jail in Alabama for questioning. She will be charged with kidnapping.
Yair will be returned to his mother with the help of the Tenn. Dept. of Family Services.
