Drake Boyd abducted Abducted East Tenn. Child Found Safe, Suspects Arrested

Police found 7-month-old Drake Boyd alive and well in Miami on July 12, 2010. David Jackson, the boy's father, Ashlea Laughlin and Brooke Collins were arrested later that night in Miami by the Safe Streets Task Force. Cops say Drake was taken from his mother in Greenville, Tenn.

Abducted Tenn. Child Found Alive In Miami


Drake Boyd was found safe and alive in Miami on July 12, 2010, and later that night, David Jackson, 35, Ashlea Laughlin, 21, and 20-year-old Brooke Collins were arrested by the Safe Streets Task Force.

Drake was abducted from his mother at approximately 4 p.m. on July 11, 2010, in a violent assault, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Police say Jackson, the child's father, and three women, including Laughlin and Collins, allegedly took part in attacking the child's mother and stealing her car.
