Missing Boy Found Dead In Pond
The body of a 7-year-old autistic boy has been found just one day after he disappeared. Searchers in Indianapolis discovered the body of David Kerns in a retention pond near his home Monday morning, after David wandered away from a family cookout Sunday afternoon. Searchers focused their search on the pond after finding one of the child's belongings on the bank. An autopsy is expected to be performed Tuesday, May 3, 2005.
