Justin Found Safe In Mexico
For Kristi Black's family and friends, it was a day to grieve and a day to rejoice. Hours after they gathered to pay their last respects to the murdered teenager, federal authorities announced they had found her missing 16-month-old son in Mexico.
Family members were first notified that the 16-month old was alive and well Friday evening. They were asked to meet authorities somewhere in El Paso and confirm that the child they found was indeed their missing family member.
Justin Black gave his grandfather Ralph Black a small high-five and a hug after the kidnapped 16-month-old toddler was found in Mexico and returned safely by FBI agents on Friday night, relatives and FBI agents said.
Cynthia Clark, the infant's aunt, says Justin looked happy, healthy and even recognized family members. The family's visit with Justin was very short because authorities took the child for a full medical exam.
Search For Abductor Continues
Authorities cannot release how they discovered Justin due to a "very active investigation" into his alleged kidnapper, Ivan Villa.
Ivan Villa is considered to be a suspect in the kidnapping of Justin Black and possibly the murder of Kristy Black.
