Quadriplegic Boy Found Safe
Authorities canceled a nationwide AMBER alert for 9-year-old Kyle Brown after he was found safe in Washington, D.C. A police officer recognized the car described in the AMBER Alert and called it in. The blind, quadriplegic 9-year-old was placed in protective custody and his father, Daryl Brown, was arrested on federal bank robbery charges.

Missing Quadriplegic Boy Found Safe; Dad Arrested
Kyle Brownwas found safe in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 9, 2005. According to officials, a D.C. police officer recognized the car Kyle was in, and he was placed in protective custody.
His father, Daryl Brown, was arrested. Kyle had been missing for a week after Daryl Brown allegedly robbed a Reno, Nev., bank and took off with the boy.
Kyle received medical treatment, and his father was put behind bars on federal bank robbery charges.
