Cops in Pennsylvania have located and arrested Christian Willis, the 19-year-old they say abducted 3-year-old Jiane Fitzpatrick on August 31, 2006. Cops say it was the fugitive's own mother who told cops they could find him at a hotel in Cherry Hill, N.J. When cops arrived at the hotel, they slapped the cuffs on Willis, and safely recovered little Jiane.
Cops had been searching all day on August 31, 2006 for Willis, who had allegedly broken into Jiane's foster parents' apartment, assaulted them, and kidnapped the child. Cops say Willis' mother, Natalie Brown, was also there during the abduction -- and that in the end, it was she who turned him in.
Cops had a hunch Brown would return home later in the day, so they staked out her apartment. Sure enough, the fugitive's mother pulled up in the early evening hours in the very same car in which cops say the pair had fled. When cops approached her, she told them they would find Willis and Jiane at a hotel in Cherry Hill, N.J.
When cops arrived at the hotel, they slapped the cuffs on Willis, and safely recovered little Jiane.
