U.S. Marshals in South Dakota say they had information that missing girl Shanae Peterson could be somewhere in British Columbia, but with nothing specific to go on, there wasn't much they could do.
That was until an alert tipster came to AMW.com and discovered that the man he knew in Canada as Robert Evans, according to the U.S. Marshals, was really Perry Sharp. And Perry Sharp was married to Eileen Sharp, a woman who had allegedly taken her daughter, Shanae Peterson, with her, even though she didn't have custody of the girl.
The tipster said that the family was living in Dawson Creek, on the Alberta border.
The U.S. Marshals contacted Canadian authorities, who found Eilleen and Perry Sharp -- and missing girl Shanae Peterson.
The Sharps are currently in custody, and cops say Shanae will be reunited with her father soon.
