Missing Boy's Body Found
Cesar Aguilar-Cano was missing for over a week before authorities had any solid leads regarding his disappearance. Unfortunately, their first solid lead was an upsetting one. Workers from Metro Solid Waste Management called the police after they found something suspicious in the back of their garbage truck.
When the police arrived, they discovered that the suspicous object was in fact the body of a young boy, stuffed inside a garbage bag. Chief Robert White announced at a press conference that they had found the body of a young boy, but had not yet been able to identify it.
Two days after the discovery, the Jefferson County Coroner's Office announced that the body from the back of the garbage truck was, in fact, that of four-year-old Cesar Aguilar-Cano, and that the manor of death was homicide. Further details in the case are pending.
