Found Ready To Go Home
Lauren Krea Dean turned herself in to the police on July 30th.
She had ranaway from home 21 days before with a boy she met on MySpace.
When she saw the police, Krea, as she is called by family and friends, told them that she was ready to go home and be with her family.
Krea had been spotted mostly in the Kalamazoo area of Michigan recently.
Krea and Daniel had found shelter through the hospitality of others.
However, after their hosts began to question who they were and where they lived, they'd leave, looking for shelter once again.
Life Without A Home Takes Its Toll
Finally, a life without a home took its toll on the young couple.
Daniel Knopp left for home on the morning of July 30th, leaving 16-year-old Krea trying to figure out how to get home by herself.
Luckily, Krea's family distributed posters and flyers with her picture on it, and someone recognized the girl.
A gentleman approached Krea in a grocery store in Battle Creek, which was 45 minutes from her home.
He convinced her to go to the authorities, who had been searching for the teenager.
The good semaritan drove her an hour to the police station.
There, Lauren Krea Dean was reunited with her family.
