Police were concerned when 36-year-old Tammy Clark and her 9-year-old daughter, Cierra, went missing on Nov. 13, 2006.
Cops say the day she went missing, Tammy called her husband -- from whom she'd recently separated -- to tell him to pick up Cierra. But when he tried to get a hold of her, Tammy was nowhere to be found -- and neither was Cierra.
But the scare was finally over on Jan. 3, 2007, when police received a phone call from authorities in Black Mountain, N.C. Police learned that Tammy had applied for a job with their Department of Health and Human Services, and that Tammy and Cierra were both living peacefully in N.C.
Police are still not sure why Tammy and Cierra left, but they say both have been cleared and are no longer missing.
