»The Full Story
On the evening of March 7, 2008, 32-year-old Heather Mallory-Cole, a part-time culinary school student and young mother worked a full shift before spending the night out with a few friends.
Portland police say that when she returned home the next morning around 7:30 a.m., a verbal confrontation occurred when her husband, Brian Cole, reprimanded Heather for staying out all night. Rather than hanging around for the fight to blossom into a battle, Heather left, and cops say that she hasn't been heard from since.
Authorities say that this is unusual for Heather, who is described as professional and responsible. She has a 3-year-old son with Cole, and cops say she is known to be a dedicated mother.
There has been no activity on her bank account or credit cards since her disappearance. Cops say that there have been no sightings of Heather since March 8, 2008. While there is no evidence of foul play, cops have not out ruled the possibility that something has happened to Heather.
